The Comic Tombs started out three years ago as away to store back issues in Comic Oasis which would maximize the amount of back issues we could store while minimizing the amount of space that the back issues took up. We drew up a simple design of what we thought would work best based on the most common design for back issue bins we had observed in other stores. Jon from Pivot Products did the CAD layout. A few weeks later we took delivery of sixteen cabinets which one of our customers later named Comic Tombs.

From the very first day we had requests on where and how can we get a Comic Tomb? Could we get them in different colors? Could you make them shorter? Could you make them taller? The answer we would normally give is that we don't sell furniture. The questions and requests persisted. We got together with Jon to come up with a plan to see if we could provided the Comic Tombs to not only consumers but other comic book specialty retailers.

We went back to the drawing board. We wanted to make them as strong as possible. While making them aesthetically pleasing at the same time. Over the next two years we tested different build materials, different hardware, and different hardware placement.

We believe thru the three plus years of design and testing that the Comic Tombs are the best way to store your comic collection.

Each Comic Tomb is custom designed at the time of order no idea is two wild.
